Lando Norris
Early Life

Born on 13 November 1999, Lando Norris initially developed an interest in motorcycle racing before his attention switched from two wheels to four. The pivotal moment came when his father took him and his brother to watch a round of the Super 1 National Kart Championships at their local kart track, sparking what would become a remarkable racing career.
Junior Career

Norris started his racing career at the remarkably young age of seven, immediately showing promise by claiming pole position at his first national event. His karting career flourished, with 2013 proving to be a breakthrough year as he won the World Karting Championships held in Bahrain, the WSK Euro Series, and both the CIK-FIA European and CIK-FIA Supercup titles.
The following year brought even greater success when he won the CIK-FIA KF World Championship, making him the youngest karting world championship winner at the time. His transition to single-seaters was equally impressive, winning the MSA Formula championship in 2015.
2016 was a standout year as Norris achieved a remarkable triple crown, winning the Toyota Racing Series, Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, and Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup. His exceptional performance that year was recognized with the prestigious McLaren Autosport BRDC Award. He capped off his junior career by winning the 2017 FIA Formula 3 European Championship.
Racing Career

As a member of the McLaren young driver programme, Norris progressed through the ranks to earn his Formula 1 seat. On 3 September 2018, he was announced as a McLaren driver for the 2019 Formula One World Championship, where he would partner Carlos Sainz Jr. This promotion marked the culmination of his rapid rise through motorsport's junior categories and his integration into one of Formula 1's most storied teams.
